1. Who we are
Virtual Support is a sole proprietorship operated by Emma Dumel, providing AI operations and handover services to businesses. This site is published at virtualsupport.world.
2. Data controller
Emma Dumel acts as the data controller for personal data collected through this website. As a provider based in France, processing is carried out in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés).
3. What data we collect
When you submit the contact form, I collect the details you enter: your first name, email address, company name, team size, and a free-text description of the AI tools and automations you run. I also collect technical data automatically, such as the pages you visit on this site, the time of your visit, and an anonymised device type (mobile or desktop).
I do not collect special categories of personal data (such as health, religion, or political opinions) and the contact form does not ask for them.
4. Why we process it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss a potential engagement (legitimate interest).
- To keep a record of enquiries for the duration of a commercial relationship.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used, so I can improve it.
5. Legal basis
The contact form relies on your consent and on the legitimate interest of responding to your enquiry. You can withdraw consent and request deletion at any time using the contact details below.
6. Cookies
This site uses a single cookie to remember your consent choice on the cookie banner. It does not set advertising cookies, profiling cookies, or third-party tracking cookies. The consent banner lets you accept or reject, and your choice is stored locally on your device. You can clear it any time through your browser settings.
7. How long we keep data
Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to respond and for the duration of any engagement that follows. If no engagement results, I delete enquiry data no later than 36 months after your last contact.
8. Who has access
Your data is accessible only to Emma Dumel and to the customer relationship management provider used to store and respond to enquiries. Processors act under contract and only on my instructions. Your data is not sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing.
9. Where data is stored
Enquiry data is stored with a CRM provider whose infrastructure is located within the European Economic Area or in countries with an adequacy decision. Where a provider relies on standard contractual clauses, those are in place.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and the right to object to processing. You can lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), or with the supervisory authority of your place of residence.
11. Security
I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls and encrypted transmission. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but I work to protect your data to the standard expected of a service of this size.
12. Contact
To exercise your rights or ask any question about your data, write to Emma Dumel at the email address you used to make contact, or through the contact form on this site. I will reply within one month, as the GDPR requires.
